Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Magnat Auto Kos. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and the car rental services we provide .

By booking a vehicle through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

 

1. Eligibility & Driver Requirements

To rent a vehicle from us, the primary driver and any additional authorized drivers must meet the following criteria at the time of rental:

  • Age Limits: Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Driver’s License: Must possess a valid, full driver’s license .

  • International Rentals: If your license is not in English/the local language of the rental location, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required alongside your national license.

  • Identification: A valid passport or government-issued ID must be presented at pickup.

 

2. Bookings, Payments, & Security Deposits

 

2.1 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is an offer to rent. A contract is only formed when you receive a Booking Confirmation Email and your payment is successfully processed.

 

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and manual payments.

 

 

3. Cancellations & Modifications

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is structured as follows:

4. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

The vehicle must be driven safely and legally. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs driving.

  • Subleasing, loaning, or letting unauthorized drivers operate the vehicle.

  • Off-roading, racing, pace-making, or using the vehicle for commercial purposes (e.g., Uber, Lyft, delivery) unless explicitly authorized in writing.

  • Transporting hazardous, flammable, or illegal materials.

 

5. Fuel, Mileage, & Returns

 

5.1 Fuel Policy

Unless otherwise stated in your booking, we operate on a Like-for-Like or Full-to-Full fuel policy. You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had at pickup. If returned with less, you will be charged for the missing fuel plus a refueling refueling service fee.

 

5.2 Mileage

  • Unlimited Mileage: Applies to standard rentals unless specified otherwise.

 

5.3 Late Returns

A grace period of [1 hour] is granted for returns. Beyond this, a full extra day’s rental rate plus late fees may apply.

 

6. Insurance, Damage, & Liability

Your rental rate includes basic Third-Party Liability insurance as required by local law.

 

7. Fines, Tolls, & Parking Violations

  • You are solely responsible for all traffic fines, speeding tickets, parking violations, and toll charges incurred during the rental period.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magnat Auto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising out of or in connection with the rental or use of our vehicles, even if a vehicle experiences a mechanical breakdown.

 

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Greece.
